BTW, I'm surprised you have kernel dmesg displaying correctly, e.g.: [ 0.008233] Initializing cgroup subsys cpuacct Shows for me over c3270 console as: Y 0.008233"Initializing cgroup subsys cpuacct with Y with an accent.
