i think i got it all wrong: $ lxc launch local:ubuntu-xenial Creating postpharyngeal-fernanda Starting postpharyngeal-fernanda
$ lxc exec postpharyngeal-fernanda /bin/bash works. I guess i naively expected "docker-like" experience where i can just "create, start, exec" something from a simplestreams remove image name in a single go. E.g. $ lxc exec ubuntu-daily:x echo hello I was expecting for a "something-rather" contianer to be created, started, and "echo hello" executed inside it. I guess that's a user error, and/or UX error. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1556108 Title: lxc cannot exec anything To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxd/+bug/1556108/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
