The issue is this:
Knetworkmanager,wifi radar,kwireless tools pro, kwifimanager, and a few other
related tools, all fail to connect to any network when the ESSID has a space in
it. They all find the network, but fail on trying to connect. Iwconfig from the
command line reports the essid as the part of the essid preceding the space
only (EG if the ESSID is "My Home Network" iwconfig reports it as being "My")
My specs are:
- Kubuntu Gutsy 32 Bit (updated daily)
- Wireless G network only
- knetworkmanager 1:0.2ubuntu1-0ubuntu5
