AndyP, thanks for telling me. I'd really like to reinstall Ubuntu and *then* follow my own guide to see if it works, but I don't want to do this with 16.04 right around the corner. Once it's released, I'll do this and get back to you guys.
I can tell you that I'm not using backports, as I just installed kernel 4.5 a few days ago, and the files in my /lib/firmware/ath10k were all deleted and then replaced following the steps in the guide. I'm also not using any of the dkms stuff that people have talked about for this card. I guess there's still something I missed. Could you post the output of "modinfo ath10k_pci"? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1436940 Title: Qualcomm Atheros QCA6164 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter [168c:0041] is not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1436940/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
