I tried several ways of fixing this. The only thing that would allow me
to remove and reinstall this package, was the "aptitude reinstall libc-
ares2" command! I tried every other way and kept getting the same error!
I haven't started using the aptitude command that often yet, I think it
just became my favorite package manager, lol!!! Apt-get, yum, dpkg, rpm,
none of it would work. Then I was reading about updates and newer tools
and found aptitude. It worked flawlessly!!!
