I just tested this on 3 different computers using Ubuntu MATE 16.04 Beta 2, all were installed with full disk encryption.
* Thinkpad T43p (i386, Radeon) * Thinkpad x201 (amd64, Intel IGP) * Thinkpad T61s (amd64, nVidia) In all cases I could not reproduce this issue.
