A new upstream release has fixed several incompatibilities:
https://github.com/google/google-api-python-client/releases/tag/v1.5.0
In other words, the version of googleapi in Xenial isn't the most
compatible with the version of oauth2client in Xenial, and the former
depends on the latter.
