Public bug reported:
Compiz-fusion works only in the following conditions :
- with Gnome (automatic setting no compiz --replace action necessary, with KDE
without even trying compiz --replace no way to move quickly the windows making
KDE unusable),
- with " fglrx" proprietary driver (no way with free drivers "radeon" or "ati"
though "radeon" works fine with Feisty,
In these conditions some extra plugings like the geras inside the cube
do not work but this is less important.
This is with :
- a X300 PCI express Radeon video card,
- compiz 1:0.5.2+git20070928-0ubuntu1
- xorg-driver-fglrx 7.1.0-8.37.6+2.6.22.4-12.4
- 64 bit AMD processor
