I installed Ubuntu and then gnome-flashback. I didn't install evolution.
Unity hides the "Add Event" menu, gnome-flashback doesn't hide it.
I don't know if Unity (re)shows the menu if one installs evolution.

Isn't it a problem that there's a menu that does nothing in a normal 
installation?
If hiding it isn't a good option, maybe we could invoke gnome-calendar insetad, 
which is preinstalled?
(or, prefer evolution first, fall back to gnome-calendar if evolution is not 
installed...)

"About This Computer" works fine now, I don't know why it didn't work
for me when I filed the bug...
