/usr/lib/opencryptoki/libopencryptoki.so is present in the
libopencryptoki-dev package. Please note that in both Debian and Ubuntu,
libraries have sonames and runtime libraries should be linked and found
with soname, thus /usr/lib/opencryptoki/libopencryptoki.so.0 should be
sufficient to resolve runtime shared library dependency.
libopencryptoki-dev is needed when compiling and linking software
against Debian/Ubuntu distribution of opencryptoki. To run the just-
built tests against the just compiled opencryptoki adjust
LD_LIBRARY_PATH envrionment variable accordingly, to resolve against the
system development library install libopencryptoki-dev package.

Do you think that test-suite binaries should be packaged into e.g.
libopencryptoki-tests package such that one can simply install that to
execute the test-suite binaries?

** Changed in: opencryptoki (Ubuntu)
