HI Christopher, I am currently running this: vincent@vincent-Lenovo-Yoga-2-11:~/Downloads$ uname -a Linux vincent-Lenovo-Yoga-2-11 4.4.0-16-generic #32-Ubuntu SMP Thu Mar 24 22:38:01 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I have done many downloads, watch video and I did not get any freezes after the update of the BIOS (and the reinstall of 16.04) I was about to update the bug to Invalid, but I have installed 4.6-rc2 now and I will report my findings. I will try to give it some time if that is ok with you, because the freezes happened rather random and sometimes after many hours of uptime. It looks promising though, with the regular actions (file download or apt-get update/dist-upgrade) not having caused a freeze.
