Public bug reported:
Updated to vlc-2.2.2-4 as part of the 16.04 beta (from 14.04.4), and
noticing a number of new issues:
- Menus jump back down to the vlc window from the top of the screen after
leaving fullscreen mode
- UI freezes sometimes and won't fullscreen/unfullscreen properly
- Seek takes longer (used to be instantaneous)
- Image corruption when using VA-API that previously wasn't there
Not sure how much of this is due to VLC rather than shared libraries --
I tried downgrading VLC and all of its dependencies to the 15.10
packages, and that didn't help, so it's possible these issues have been
around for a little while -- but the packaged version definitely needs a
UX pass now.
** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu)
