There are no PHP5 options officially provided in the repositories in 16.04, in main or universe. The issue becomes, if we have PHP5 officially in universe, whether end-users read the policies or not, it will appear to be supported (particularly for security fixes), except it won't be. We are slightly ahead of Debian in this migration, but they are going down the same path in parallel. For PHP5, end-users should stay on Trusty (or run it in a container/VM/etc). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1522422 Title: Update to php 7.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php5/+bug/1522422/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
