Binary package hint: alsa-utils
As of the last update (possibly pulse-audio problems?) I can no longer
get sound in applications that aren't gnome apps, for example flash in
firefox. Also, the PCM slider which previously controlled master volume
does nothing. I did the set-default-card thing after upgrade too.
I am using a 2nd gen macbook, I will attatch output.
