I'd like to bump this and ask to have this added to the queue for Compiz fixes/enhancements. Since Chrome/Chromium recently added smooth scrolling (which I disabled), this has become more apparent to me.
I've been using Compiz for years and still prefer it over every other WM, so I'm grateful for your continued maintenance on it.
