Without a valid /boot/initrd.img we will not boot today. Are you trying to remove _all_ the kernels? And/or is there a reason why there is no active /boot/initrd.img ?
Note this looks like a very old installation, is /boot/initrd.img a symlink? if not please remove that file, and reinstall any kernel. ** Tags added: s390x -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1560024 Title: /etc/kernel/postrm.d/zz-zipl fails when removing an old kernel To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/s390-tools/+bug/1560024/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
