Ahhh, thanks. In the test scenario, I have two different items, an LPAR and a z/VM instance and both were configured with relatively small disks. (6GB total). The zVM one at least had a couple extra DASDs added that I could add via LVM and that helped a lot. The other did not so I'm waiting for IS to expand it or give me more storage somewhere.
