Upgrading from Fiesty to Gutsy, I had to log into failsafe mode with the
new kernel because the gdm failsafe to get one to desktop would not
start X. I had to use the desktop under my old kernel 2.6.20 to download
the nvidia binary script, and compile the nvidia driver from terminal.
Everythin is fine now, just gnome starts the bottom panel invisibly,
until I right click the are where it should be.
