Perl is already installed after default installation. Below is the information
about version.
root@ubuntu:~# which perl
/usr/bin/perl
root@ubuntu:~# perl --version
This is perl 5, version 22, subversion 1 (v5.22.1) built for
powerpc64le-linux-gnu-thread-multi
(with 58 registered patches, see perl -V for more detail)

Issue is observed in other systems also after fresh installation.
