Public bug reported: Have a radio application that passes a selected radio stream web address to vlc. About a month ago this process has been failing on some of the radio selections. VLC will start but will display a series of unprintable characters in the display area. Below is the output of VLC when this occurs. The command my application passed is "*** vlc http://str.........."; line.
