Actually steps to reproduce do not include WiFi nor reloading the scope,
it's basically

* get yourself a short scope, like today with only date, events, weather and 
recent (it should barely use more than the height of the screen)
* scroll down so header is hidden
* switch to another scope
* go back to the scope, scroll to top and repeat for a few times

Here the bug is triggered in 3 times but depending on how long your
scope is it may be more
