The "Install Firmware" feature currently includes `linux-firmware-nonfree` in its package list. linux-firmware-non-free was recently removed from the Xenial archive (LP: #1513589) therefore this feature now fails. * This updated version of Ubuntu MATE Welcome makes one small change, it removes linux-firmware-nonfree from the install options such that the "Install Firmware" feature works. [Test Case] * Install Ubuntu MATE 16.04. When Welcome is displayed after login click Getting Started -> Drivers -> Install Firmware Package. Enter your password when prompted, should after you'll be notified that the firmware install failed. * Once Ubuntu MATE Welcome 16.04.10 is installed the above steps will complete successfully.
