Public bug reported:

I tryed installing my custom Ubuntu 16.04 Mate edition custom live CD, with 
containing all upgrades and I wanted optional packages and settings for 
accessibility.
This build containing latest Ubiquity package version.
After the installer finishing file copy, the installer is crash.
