Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

According to epiphany's manpage, there exist a command line option
called '--import-bookmarks=FILE' to import bookmarks from a file.
However when trying to use this option epiphany does not do anything.

* Steps to reproduce:
1) create a epiphany bookmarks file by exporting your bookmarks (->
bookmarks.rdf)
2) delete all bookmarks to prevent duplicating entries
3) run epiphany --import-bookmarks=bookmarks.rdf

* Observed behavior: Bookmarks don't show up in epiphany bookmarks.

* Expected behavior: Imported bookmarks should show up.

* Further information:
- Epiphany version 2.20.0 from Ubuntu 7.10 Beta used. The same bug appeared
also with epiphany version 2.14.3 on a non-ubuntu machine
- Importing the same bookmark RDF file through the bookmark editor's Import
menu entry works well.
- Several different bookmark RDF files were tested.
- Also tried importing a mozilla HTML bookmark file with --import-bookmarks.
Didn't work either
- Also tried command line option --add-bookmard=URL for a single url. Didn't
work either

** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
