Marked this as duplicate of bug #1567237 (instead of the other way
around) because I think that it would be probably easier to investigate
the problem using the 3.19 series of kernels, because we know 2
consecutive kernel versions in that series, which first worked and
second did not: 3.19.0-51 worked, then 3.19.0-58 did not. Also I think
is better to focus firstly on the other bug because the other bug is
higher importance and I thing that this is needed now, when both 3.19
and 4.2 series of kernels stopped working on my Laptop running Ubuntu
14.04.
