I've been having that issue for awhile, on Ubuntu 12.04. I haven't yet seen it on Ubuntu 16.04, which is what I'm using now.
It does not connect to the Internet at times, on this one and another one (running Ubuntu 12.04). Usually if I take out the USB WLAN adapter and put it in another USB port, it works, at other times only works for a minute.
