In my laptop it shows the "Wired Network" symbol when connecting to any "Wireless Network". It shows the "Wired Network" icon from the time I connect to the network until I disconnect from it.
The commands `killall nm-applet` and `setsid nm-applet` resets the icon back to normal for me too. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575289 Title: Wired Connection Icon shown in Menu bar ,although connected to a Wireless Network in Ubuntu 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1575289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
