Public bug reported: Binary package hint: conduit
When I try to quit Conduit, its main window closes and its icon remains in the notification area. Soon, a popup appears that it has closed unexpectedly. The menu on the notification area icon works and I can open the main window again and indeed /use/ Conduit; it has not actually closed, though that message and the fact that I told it to suggests otherwise. Clicking Quit either in the main window or the notification area produces the same result of the program /not/ quitting. This happens continually until I end Conduit forcefully via the system monitor. Closing Conduit's main window via the close button on the title bar causes the program's main window to disappear for good (I cannot make it reappear), but still the notification icon remains. I can tell the program to synchronize via its menu in the notification area, but left clicking does not open the main window and Quit still does not cause the program to end. (However, the "program closed unexpectedly" message appears for every time I press Quit). It sounds like the problem may be solved in version 1.3.4. I will test that version shortly. http://www.conduit-project.org/wiki/0.3.4 This bug is oddly similar to Bug #144258 for Conduit, which is also written in Python. ** Affects: conduit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- When I Quit out of Conduit, a message appears that it has closed unexpectedly, while it continues to run https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149062 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
