Public bug reported:
Attempting to build against MariaDB on Xenial (16.04), and I discovered
a weird packaging situation. The standard MariaDB client package
(libmariadbclient-dev) which was available in Trusty is missing. The
only remaining client dev package (libmariadb-client-lgpl-dev) is
missing important components, such as the mysql_config script that most
builds depend on.
