Chris, You asked that I install rc3 or latest, so I installed the latest 4.6-rc5 (not rc3).
There are no manual configs, edits, etc. Using rc5, the left mouse click bug is still present. The latest kernel did not fix it. Furthermore, I just swapped my X250 with my wife's X250 (I swapped hard drives). So now I'm using a totally different X250 computer. (same brand, model, version, etc). I did this test after upgrading the BIOS to 1.21 (as I did with the original X250). This verifies that the left-mouse-sticking problem is present on a different X250 running exactly the same software. Thus the problem is not the hardware, the left-mouse-button-sticking issue is in the Thinkpad model X250 + Ubuntu 16.04LTS + X250 BIOS 1.21 Jont Allen ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1506817 Title: left TPP/2 IBM TrackPoint "sticks on" randomly (X250 15.04) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1506817/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
