Some issue pervent the system from correct shutdown
reproductible 100%
release: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Xubuntu 16.04 LTS (64bit both)
hardware: laptop Dell inspiron1501 (a nice elder ^^)
What it should do: After a normal shutdown using either UI or console
"shutdown", the system is supposed to shutdown completly and poweroff
What happened:
The shutdown never finish, it close correctly the Unity (or xfce ) graphical
interface and throw some informations in console mode, and suddently stop after
"kvm: exiting hardware virtualization"
Condition to reproduce: None, it's a fresh install with normal
partitionning (a / and a /home partition), system work well but never
shutdown correctly
Previous ubuntu release was working perfectly on the same hardware ( LTS
12.04 and LTS 14.04 )
A bit of googling tend to show it's not an isolate case since 16.04
release
