With a lot of effort and million monkeys on the keyboard I was finally able to get Xenial to access Windows 10 printer. Yakkety Yak same problem all over again. I'll flail around a bit and open another bug if necessary. Conclusion, Ubuntu developers don't have a Windows 10 on their network to check compatibility in the real world.
