I was wrong, this has nothing to do with window snapping. The problem
just happened to me again with window snapping enabled.

Also, note that it doesn't just happen with Emacs windows. It just
happened to me with a gnome-terminal window.

Also, it apparently is window-specific. I just had it happen to me with
a gnome-terminal window, but then when I immediately maximized and un-
maximized an Emacs window, it un-maximized to the correct size.
