Public bug reported:

System: Ubuntu-Mate 16.04 fresh install.
info: parcellite 1.1.9-1
MATE Desktop with Software Compositing or Compton Compositing

Description:
The text selection (Ctrl+a or double Mouse-clic) fails when the line ends with
a space character.
The cursor goes to the beginning of the line and no words are selected.

Selecting the line works correctly if there is no trailing whitespace.

note: When parcelitte is disabled, the selection works correctly.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a file with the Pluma text editor, enter the following content without
the quotes:
    "blabla blalblala "
2. Hit Ctrl+a

** Affects: parcellite (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Attachment added: "config file"
