Public bug reported:

Canon Pixma MP160 connected via USB port with Canon Drivers installed.
The Black Ink cartridge ran out so I took it out after a print job had
paused. The Job Never finished. I don't remember if it was because I
rebooted or not but every bootup thereafter would show the print spooler
icon up, but no jobs would be present. The CPU's would have very wierd
usage in the sys monitor. Under the resources tab in the system monitor
where you can see the history of the CPU it would look like a parabola
with an asymtote around the 50% mark. CPU 2 would typically run at 100%
and CPU1 would run ~2%. As applications increased cpu usage on CPU1,
CPU2 would decrease until 50% and then restart at 100% with full CPU
usage on both cpus. This continued until I unplugged the printer from
the usb port which refreshed the Spooler and showed the document that
was pending. Powering the Printer off had no effect prior to unplugging
it. Hopefully someone can reproduce it so it can be fixed.
