Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible for this report to make
progress unless you can specify exactly what settings you are using,
what settings your device requires, and exactly how you are configuring
minicom to determine that it doesn't work.

You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively"

most developers do not have access to exactly your model of switch, but
any bug in minicom is likely to be related to general serial
communication and not exactly that switch. We'd be grateful if you would
then provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you
believe this is a bug rather than a problem specific to your system, and
then change the bug status back to New.
