This is not good, it means irssi-plugin-xmpp in Xenial is completely broken, due to a newer irssi, which
a) should have required a rebuild to fix the ABI mismatch, but unfortunately we haven't tied this down to properly versioned package dependencies yet b) expects plugins in a different directory (which includes the multiarch triplet "x86_64-linux-gnu" in the path) In Debian, this was tracked as #817171, and fixed by 0.52+git20160118-2 For Ubuntu Xenial, I've requested a sync (LP: 1579925), hopefully that's possible. I suppose that Yakkety is not affected. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1579545 Title: xmpp-plugin does not load in Xenial To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/irssi-plugin-xmpp/+bug/1579545/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
