The 4 gb kingston data taveler usb stick as /dev/sda has my Kubuntu install files on it. The dev/sda is unknown 57 gb drive was my install drive which is a usb flash drive that I found out today was defective. I exchanged it today from the store that I had purchased it from. I installed Kubuntu on the new usb flash drive and it seems to be working good for now. I have had Kubuntu on my desktop and a older laptop for a log time. I just purchased a new laptop and right now do not want to install Kubuntu on the same hard drive as windows 10. So, I thought that it would be a good idea to install Kubuntu on a usb flash drive. Would You recommend buying a external usb hard drive and using it on my new laptop instead of a usb flash drive?
