Let me rephrase after having understood this bug properly. We currently do display the name (as set in the first-use wizard) on the tablet, not yet on the phone - but we'll be converging the two in the coming months.
So we're still missing a way to set it in the settings app, but also displaying it in the phone greeter. Now whether we want this to be optional is another question. Could be considered a privacy issue in theory. Adding ubuntu-ux to determine what we want there. ** Summary changed: - [Lockscreen]Name of user + [Lockscreen] Option to show user's name on the greeter -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1544693 Title: [Lockscreen] Option to show user's name on the greeter To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1544693/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
