Public bug reported:
In the Xenial cycle, mplayer2 was dropped and mplayer reintroduced. On
upgrade from wily to xenial (I didn't notice until yakkety), mplayer2 is
left installed, rather than the sidegrade being done, leaving people
with unsupported software installed. This should be resolved with a
transitional package for upgrades.
