@ yharrow I did create a patch to just visually change the ruler and coordinate display, but more experienced devs pointed out that this was not the best way to address the issue (see #76). Time has passed, I don't know how much work is still necessary. I'd also love to see a fix and still suggest to use the svg viewbox element for internal coordinates and visual representation or rulers.
