Binary package hint: uswsusp
I did this:
$ s2ram
The program 's2ram' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install uswsusp
bash: s2ram: command not found
$ sudo apt-get install s2ram
...
(configured the package)
...
$ s2ram

$ apt-cache policy uswsusp
uswsusp:

P.S. there is a new stable release, 0.7:
