I have the same issue on current (16.04 amd64) installer on latest stable VirtualBox (5.0.20) on Windows 10 64 Bit (current stable Win10).
Enabling EFI (EFI, Special on OSs only in Machine settings) Virtual Box and setting up a 8 GB Dynamically Allocated disk triggered the issue.
