(This is almost a duplicate of my comment #16 on bug #1581535 but I think a rare occurrence of such duplication being appropriate.)
Could someone please consider that there are many semi-technical people like myself effected by this who really need step-by-step instructions for getting going again. This thread points to comment #13 on bug #1581535 as being a solution (for the moment at least). However those instructions only go so far. Please could somebody post here, or elsewhere and link to it, instructions that include the actual commands to run in order to go all the way from cut-off-from-the-world to regaining access, for 14.04 (in my case) and anything else effected. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1511735 Title: libnl: fail to bind() netlink sockets To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libnl3/+bug/1511735/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
