The system cannot boot in recovery mode either. While fixing the specific bug in the uswsusp package might not be very urgent, the experience I had was that doing an Ubuntu upgrade to Xenial LTS edition caused my machine to be unbootable. If this issue is not going to be addressed then perhaps we should look into making the recovery mode more resilient to apparently unsupported scripts.
Shouldn't the uswsusp script be disabled until the issue is resolved? Who can accept a patch for that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568341 Title: Boot hangs at: /scripts/local-premount/uswsusp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1568341/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
