Binary package hint: cupsys
In gutsy (up-to-date as of 24h ago) when I try to print to my HP PSC 750
using the hplip driver it fails and lpstat -t says:
$ lpstat -t
scheduler is running
no system default destination

Printer accepting requests since Fri 05 Oct 2007 10:43:39 AM EDT

Additionally, /var/log/cups/error_log says:

crashed on signal 9!
