Public bug reported:
After creating an oem setup, rebooting it and going through the install
process for the user causes the installer to crash.
It crashes while the installer reports it is creating the user. I have
custom /etc/skel contents, which I created by copying the relevant
config folders from the oem user when performing the oem setup. If
ubiquity cares about what is on that folder other than just copying the
contents to the new user folder, it may be related. It worked fine on
the previous version of ubuntu.
