Public bug reported:
Update of 5/10/07 fails to install "linux-restricted-modules-generic"
from 2.6.22.12.17 to 2.6.22.13.18. This driver is "grayed" out in the
list of updates; it can not be checked for installation.
This may also have something to do with this update preventing Samsung
243T LCD (1920x1200) resolution using NVIDIA proprietary driver. Can no
longer get 1920x1200 screen res, nor can I open program to check for
restricted drivers. From 'Terminal', Synaptic will not permit
installation of the 'linux restricted module generic' and pops up a
screen which says:
"Could not mark all packages for installation or upgrade. The following
packages have unresolvable dependencies. Make sure that all the required
repositories are added and enabled in the preferences.
linux-restricted-modules-generic:
Depends: linux-restricted-modules 2.6.22-13 generic but it is not installable."

Importance: Undecided
