Public bug reported:
When building a snap, the canonical way is to do:
snapcraft
in the root dir of snap. This will create a *.snap file there.
When using the copy plugin for a part, the contents of the root dir will
get copied to $SNAPROOT/parts/foo/build.
Thus when doing repeated builds, the generated snaps get copied to
parts/foo/build too. With snaps easily reaching multiple 100s MB that is
needless waste of discspace, but more importantly it slows the copy
plugin down severely.
** Affects: snapcraft (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
