Public bug reported: systemd 230 was recently released and is now in Ubuntu 16.10 (development).
A major change is that user process are killed by default upon log out. I believe byobu should probably opt in to stay running after log out. https://github.com/systemd/systemd/blob/v230/NEWS https://github.com/tmux/tmux/issues/428 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.10 Package: byobu 5.106-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-23.41-generic 4.4.10 Uname: Linux 4.4.0-23-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.1-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: GNOME Date: Sun May 29 13:49:18 2016 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-04-09 (49 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu-GNOME 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Beta amd64 (20160408) PackageArchitecture: all SourcePackage: byobu UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: byobu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: byobu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug yakkety ** Attachment removed: "JournalErrors.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/byobu/+bug/1586810/+attachment/4672397/+files/JournalErrors.txt ** Also affects: byobu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1586810 Title: Adapt to systemd 230 KillUserProcesses=yes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/byobu/+bug/1586810/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
